Denty signs 2 year contract with GCCC
Former Cleeve CC cricket player, Chris Dent has signed professional terms with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
Chris started his cricket with Cleeve at the age of 9 spending 6 successful seasons here. He went on to play at all Junior levels for the club before moving into the senior team before moving to Thornbury CC.
18 year old Chris's 2 year contract will allow him to play overseas during the winter and join the rest of the squad in March. The local lad, from Backwell, is a lefthand batsman, who bowls left arm spin. He is a result of GCCC youth cricket, having worked his way up through the age groups and the GCCC Academy.
Everyone at Cleeve remembers Chris smashing the ball to all parts of the ground. We wish him the best of luck and will watch his career unfold with great interest.
Full details of Chris can be found on the official Glos CCC website:
