Cleeve off the mark with victory at Portishead
Last summer's Division One champions Cleeve are off the mark after securing a four-wicket victory against Portishead.
Rob Iles and Chris Bridge made 58, including six fours and two sixes, and 45 respectively in Portishead's 224-6. Cleeve lost opening batsman Chris James for eight but secured the win thanks to captain Mike Haswell (87, including 15 fours and two sixes) and last year's skipper Robert Hoffeldt (86 not out, including 12 fours).
