Promoted Cleeve are beaten on opening day
Skipper Mike Haswell blasted 74 but could not prevent last summer's Division One title winners Cleeve losing by five wickets against Twyford House.
Twyford House, relegated from the Bristol & North Somerset Division last season, restricted the Somerset side to 215-7 with Ross Sutton taking 6-85.
After making a good start, House were indebted to Ashley Hall's 83, which included 10 fours and two sixes.
