B&D 1st Division Champions!!
The 1st XI collected enough bonus points on Saturday to secure the B&D First Division title with one game still to play.
Having not played for almost a month, and missing some key players, the 1st XI struggled to assert themselves at Bristol Sri Lankans. Having been put into bat, Cleeve looked set for a huge total thanks to an excellent start, led by Andy Burrell, Mike Haswell and Robbie Hoffeldt, but had to settle for what appeared to be a handy score of 215 as the middle order failed to ignite.
In reply, the Sri Lankans were in no mood to hang around and despite losing three early wickets, raced to their target with more than ten overs to spare, to hand Cleeve their first defeat of the year.
